Position Responsibilities:

  • Architect, implement, and document secure technical solutions for new and existing client infrastructures
  • Develop and execute detailed technical work plans, implementation plans, and client transition strategies
  • Build and configure client environments that may include cloud-based SaaS solutions, virtual servers, networking equipment, desktops, laptops, and other common business technologies

  • Deliver infrastructure, cloud, networking, cybersecurity, and application-related projects according to established scope, timelines, and technical standards
  • Identify project risks, technical dependencies, and potential roadblocks and communicate them proactively to Project Managers and other stakeholders
  • Provide consistent project updates regarding technical strategy, progress, adjustments, risks, and next steps
  • Attend and actively participate in client-facing meetings, technical discovery sessions, project reviews, and implementation discussions
  • Respond to client questions and provide proactive technical guidance throughout the onboarding and project lifecycle
  • Serve as a technical escalation point and subject matter expert for Project Engineers, Systems Engineers, and clients during active projects
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues that arise during implementations and client transitions
  • Work cross-functionally to build strong relationships with technical and non-technical colleagues, clients, vendors, and other project stakeholders
  • Research, evaluate, design, and test new and existing technologies that support client business objectives and Atlas Technica's technology strategy
  • Improve the efficiency, consistency, and scalability of implementations through automation, scripting, documentation, and established toolsets
  • Create and maintain accurate technical documentation, project records, implementation procedures, and client environment information
  • Help cross-train, coach, mentor, and upskill Project Engineers, Systems Engineers, and interns
  • Follow Atlas Technica's technical standards, security requirements, documentation expectations, and change-control procedures
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the manager

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant IT experience in areas such as desktop support, systems engineering, systems administration, infrastructure engineering, or project engineering
  • Experience leading or contributing to technical implementations, infrastructure projects, client migrations, or new-client onboarding initiatives
  • Strong end-user and desktop support experience, including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and home or remote-office networking

  • Experience implementing and supporting cybersecurity and email-security products such as Mimecast, Sophos, Symantec, Proofpoint, or similar technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft PowerShell, the Microsoft Graph API, or similar tools to automate Microsoft 365 administration and implementation tasks
  • Ability to assess technical environments, identify risks or gaps, and recommend practical solutions
  • Ability to create and execute technical project plans while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively and independently within a remote environment while remaining highly collaborative
  • Ability to work a schedule aligned with Eastern Time business hours
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities within a rapidly growing, fast-paced environment

Desirable Qualities:
