This position will strengthen relationships with partners by providing credible cybersecurity advice, instruction, analysis, and sustain professional engagement across the Indo-Pacific region for a large government customer.


Position Type: Full-Time, Limited Term Period.


Work Location: Completely onsite in Honolulu, HI, with both CONUS and OCONUS travel.


Basic Required Qualifications and Skills: Note: These are mandatory items that all candidates must have when submitting an application to IMC for this position. Please ensure that your submission addresses each of these requirement items. Candidates without these required elements will not be considered.



  • At start date must possess one or more of the certifications listed below in ACTIVE status: CISSP, CISM, Security+CE

  • 7+ years progressive cybersecurity, cyber operations, information assurance, threat, incident response, risk or resilience experience, including at least 5 years in a senior advisory or leadership capacity.

  • 5+ years of knowledge of DoD and Army cybersecurity policy.

  • Demonstrated ability/experience with: Supporting multinational, coalition, interagency, or partner-nation engagements, with Indo-Pacific experience strongly desired. Design and deliver presentations, workshops, tabletop presentations, and instruction to mixed technical and nontechnical audiences. Brief general officers, senior government civilians, stakeholders, technical specialists, and conference audiences while separating facts, assumptions, risks and recommendations.

  • Demonstrate professionalism, diplomacy, and adaptability while building trust-based relationships with partners; communicates clearly and respectfully, addresses concerns thoughtfully, and manages expectations with integrity.

  • Advanced writing skills and experience addressing senior executive leaders and General Officers.

  • Valid passport and willingness to travel to both CONUS and OCONUS locations as required.

  • Pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. Citizenship.

  • All applicants must have current DoD TS/SCI clearance eligibility day one and prior to entry on duty.


Desired Qualifications and Skills: It is desirable that the candidate have the following qualifications:



  • Experience working within military service components and combatant command environments, with a strong understanding of command structures and operational environments.

  • Degree in one of the following fields: Cybersecurity, Strategy, International Relations, or a relevant technical or management discipline.

  • 15+ years of relevant experience.

  • Experience with Mission Partner Environment, CENTRIX, coalition networks, foreign disclosure, security cooperation, or partner capacity building.

  • Additional credentials such as GCIH, GCIA, GSLC, CRISC, CCSP, PMP, ITIL, or instructor certification.

  • Experience conducting cybersecurity exercises, tabletop events, senior leader seminars, or command and control interoperability forums.

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other office suite products as needed.

  • Proficiency in an Indo-Pacific regional language.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This position will include, but is not limited to, the following tasks:



  • Review program responsibilities, schedules, reports, partner information, and policy requirements.

  • Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to establish priorities, develop work plans, coordinate activities, and ensure readiness for engagements and travel.

  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of meetings, workshops, conferences, exercises, and partner engagements.

  • Represent the organization at professional events and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Develop and deliver training and awareness programs, communicate risks and recommendations to diverse audiences, and provide practical guidance to support informed decision-making and long-term organizational goals.

  • Ensure information is handled and shared in accordance with applicable requirements.

  • Support planning, assessment, and follow-up activities for exercises and engagements, capture lessons learned and recommend process improvements.

  • Prepare reports, presentations, briefings, and recommendations for leadership.

  • Provide analysis and advice on partner capabilities, emerging trends, risks, opportunities, and future activities, while clearly communicating assumptions, limitations, and key considerations.
