Job description

Cyber Data Analysis Engineer
Experience: 5+ years
Environment: Enterprise cybersecurity

Build and maintain the data pipelines and platforms that support enterprise cybersecurity investigations. This role combines SIEM engineering, systems administration, data integration, and operational troubleshooting across Linux, Windows, virtualized, and cloud environments.
What You Will Do
  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot cybersecurity data pipelines and event collection services.
  • Support data ingestion, normalization, log management, identity monitoring, and SIEM operations.
  • Resolve complex technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Maintain secure configurations, patches, documentation, and change records.
  • Monitor data flow health and address service degradation or outages.
  • Coordinate testing, integration, upgrades, and maintenance with technical teams and stakeholders.

What You Bring
  • At least five years of systems engineering, platform engineering, or similar experience.
  • Advanced Linux skills and working knowledge of Windows systems.
  • Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, load balancers, firewalls, and enterprise networking.
  • Experience with VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, XenServer, or similar virtualization platforms.
  • Current DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification.
  • Ability to obtain CSSP Infrastructure Support certification within 120 days.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, time-management, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Splunk, Elastic, ArcSight, Cribl, or similar platforms.
  • AWS, public cloud, OpenStack, or private cloud experience.
  • Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
