We are seeking an HR Generalist to deliver expert human resources services in a fast-paced cybersecurity organization. This role serves as a partner in core human resource functions, anticipating workforce and compliance needs, and act as a subject matter expert in employment-based immigration.

The ideal candidate is forward-thinking, highly detailed oriented, effective communicator that brings immigration expertise in addition to HR Generalist expertise. This includes advanced analytical and technical capabilities to deliver scalable people solutions and support a dynamic, fast-growing organization.

HR Generalist:

  • Serve as the primary internal point of contact for immigration processes, advising employees and internal stakeholders on procedural requirements and timelines.

  • Partner with external immigration counsel to prepare, review, and finalize filings, including analyzing supporting documentation for completeness and compliance.

  • Independently manage and coordinate employment-based immigration cases exercising judgment to prioritize matters, identify risks and ensure timely filings.

  • Interpret changes in immigration and employment regulations and assess operational impact; provide recommendations to HR and Leadership.

  • Support employment eligibility verification and employment-based visa processes, including L-1 (L-1A/L-1B), H-1B, F-1, and work authorization renewals, in partnership with external counsel.

  • Support the full employee lifecycle including onboarding/new hire orientation, offboarding, transfers and promotions.

  • Maintain accurate employee recordsrelated to hiring, terminations, leaves, transfers and promotions within HRIS.

  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, practices, and employment matters. Ensure compliance with employment laws, internal policies, and HR best practices.

  • Supports organizational changes, ensuring clear communication, employee engagement, and alignment with company values.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve HR processes through technology and data-driven solutions.

  • Partner cross-functionally with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Legal, Compensation, Benefits, and Compliance to deliver integrated people solutions.

  • Serve as a project manager for recurring HR programs and ad-hoc initiatives that directly impact the workforce.

  • Draft and distribute clear communications related to HR policies, programs, and process updates.

  • Provide workforce data and reporting to support compliance programs such as EEO/AAP, VETS-4212, and annual audit requests.

  • Lead internal I-9 compliance efforts, including audits, reverification strategy, and process improvements.

  • Manage end-to-end employee relocation processes, including domestic and international relocations, in partnership with external vendors and internal stakeholders (HRBPs, Payroll, Finance, Legal), ensuring a smooth employee experience and policy compliance.

Required:

  • 3+ years of progressive Human Resources and Immigration experience.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is required, including the ability to analyze data, build reports, track immigration and compliance timelines, and present insights to stakeholders.

  • Experience working with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday) and data/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) preferred.

  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. and Canada employment-based immigration and employment law fundamentals.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through skills.

  • Experience advising on global mobility and employment-based immigration matters in partnership with internal and external stakeholders

  • Solid knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and best practices, including EEO and affirmative action guidelines.

  • Familiarity with emerging technologies, includingAItools, to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving, sometimes ambiguous environment.

  • Customer-focused forward-thinking mindset with a commitment to delivering timely and effective support.

  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) - Preferred.
