Job description

Job Summary:
Bass Pro Shops is seeking an Associate Cybersecurity Engineer, Identity to support the design, implementation, and operation of their identity and access management infrastructure. The role focuses on securing identities across on-premises and cloud environments, monitoring identity systems, and assisting in implementing controls to ensure security and compliance.
Responsibilities:
• Perform analysis of identity-related issues, including authentication failures, access anomalies, and directory service performance; implement corrective and preventative actions.
• Support the administration and security of identity platforms (e.g., Active Directory, Entra ID/Azure AD, SSO, MFA, and identity governance tools).
• Act as a front-line interface for identity and access-related requests and incidents, including provisioning, deprovisioning, and access troubleshooting.
• Assist in the configuration, testing, and deployment of identity integrations (e.g., SSO, SCIM, and API-based connectors) in non-production and production environments.
• Monitor identity systems and integrations for security risks, misconfigurations, and suspicious activity; escalate as appropriate.
• Maintain and document identity architecture, processes, access models, and operational procedures.
• Participate in identity security initiatives, including access reviews, least privilege enforcement, and credential hygiene efforts.
• Engage in ongoing training and development related to identity security, cloud identity platforms, and zero trust principles.
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 0-2+ years of experience
