Senior Cyber Test Engineer
Contingent upon Customer Approval
Purpose:
  • Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate opening for a Senior Cyber Test Engineer to support STRIKE Test and Evaluation Team in Huntsville, AL.
Job Description:
  • Primary leader of cyber testing for multiple weapon systems, to include CVPA, AA, tabletops (this is not network security and cyber compliance).
  • Formulate cyber engineering assessment needs and cyber test objectives.
  • Evaluate cyber test plans.
  • Manage and participate in cyber test execution.
  • Assess mitigation plans to correct cyber deficiencies and system-level cyber risks.
  • Participate in technical reviews and Technical Interchange Meetings to assess proposed engineering changes for cyber engineering impacts.
  • Identify cyber vulnerabilities, examine attack paths, evaluate operational cyber defense capabilities.
  • Perform cybersecurity supply chain assessments.
Qualifications:
  • Must have 10 years related technical experience plus Master's degree, or 12 years related technical experience with Bachelor's degree (BS or BA).
  • Must have 2 years experience in weapon system cyber testing (not network compliance and RMF); this experience can coincide with 10 years above.
  • *Active DoD Top Secret security clearance, or active Secret clearance with available Top Secret clearance
Desired Qualifications:
  • Top Secret Clearance, preferred.
Security Requirements:
  • Must have an Active DoD Secret clearance and the ability to maintain a clearance.
  • Must be able to obtain a Active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
Travel Requirements:
  • 25% travel required.
  • If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:
  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
  • Communicating with others to exchange information and repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
