Position Overview

Amatriot is seeking a Cyber Capabilities Developer to support Rapid Application Development for offensive and defensive cybersecurity tools, network topologies, and secured networks.

This role will leverage red team and blue team operational expertise to advance mission objectives through focused development efforts in software engineering and network analysis. Support activities will span both user and kernel levels, including configuration and management of complex network environments, administration of covert and virtualized systems, vulnerability research and analysis, and utilization of open-source penetration testing tools.


Key ResponsibilitiesCyber Tool Development and Prototyping
  • Support Rapid Application Development for offensive and defensive cybersecurity tools.
  • Rapidly develop and prototype tools for Windows and Linux endpoints.
  • Perform software engineering using modern programming practices and industry standard languages, including C, C++, .NET, and Python.
Vulnerability Research and Analysis
  • Identify vulnerabilities in network, host, and web application endpoints using techniques from open-source research and manual analysis.
  • Perform vulnerability research and analysis.
  • Use open-source penetration testing tools.
Endpoint and Persistence Analysis
  • Apply expertise in techniques for persistence mechanisms on endpoints using utilities pertaining to identified vulnerabilities.
  • Support activities at both user and kernel levels.
Network, Cloud, and Virtualized Environment Support
  • Support development and analysis of network topologies and secured networks.
  • Configure and manage complex network environments.
  • Administer covert and virtualized systems.
  • Create, manage, and deploy virtual environments using applications such as VMware, Proxmox, KVM/qemu, and similar tools.
  • Apply a strong understanding of networking, network topologies, and routing through the internet.
  • Support VPN, proxy, and tunnel management and configuration.
  • Apply knowledge of cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, GCP, and similar platforms.
Mission and Team Support
  • Leverage red team and blue team operational expertise to advance mission objectives.
  • Think independently and take initiative on new tasks.

Qualifications:Education and Experience
  • Junior Level: BS/BA with 2+ years of relevant experience, or 6 years of relevant experience with no degree.
  • Mid Level: BS/BA with 6+ years of relevant experience, or 10 years of relevant experience with no degree.
  • Senior Level: BS/BA with 10+ years of relevant experience, or 14 years of relevant experience with no degree.
  • Advanced certifications, specialized training, or equivalent hands-on experience may be considered in lieu of years of experience.
Skills
  • Ability to identify vulnerabilities in network, host, and web application endpoints using a variety of techniques from open-source research and manual analysis.
  • Ability to rapidly develop and prototype tools for Windows and Linux endpoints.
