Job description

Business Relationship Manager

Location: Falls Church, VA

Duration: Fulltime

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in managing multi year transformation initiatives, strong leadership across global delivery models, and proven experience engaging with CXO-level stakeholders. This role requires exceptional communication, strategic planning, and hands-on management of demos, conference room pilots (CRPs), and large-scale testing cycles.

15+ years of experience in Program/Project Management with strong ERP transformation background (Oracle preferably).

Experience working with (Engineering, Procurement and Construction EPC industry clients

Proven track record delivering complex programs in an onsiteoffshore model.

Strong experience in organizing and running CRPs, demos, UAT/SIT cycles, and cutover readiness events.

Excellent communication skills with ability to present to CXO and executive leadership.

PMP, SAFe, or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. Program Leadership & Governance

Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and governance of the ERP transformation program.

Establish program structure, workstreams, RAID logs, governance cadence, and KPIs.

Drive alignment between business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendor partners.

2. Stakeholder & CXO-Level Coordination

Act as the primary senior liaison for CXO-level stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and timely decision-making.

Present program updates, risks, financials, and mitigation plans to executive steering committees.

3. OnsiteOffshore Delivery Management

Manage hybrid delivery teams across onsite and offshore locations.

Resolve cross-location challenges and ensure seamless collaboration.

4. Demo, CRP, and Business Validation Events

Plan and execute conference room pilots (CRPs), solution walkthroughs, and business process demos.

Coordinate business participation, manage content readiness, and ensure outcomes are captured and tracked.

5. Large-Scale Testing Event Management

Lead organization and execution of UAT, SIT, regression testing, and mock cutovers involving large user groups.

Define testing strategy, entry/exit criteria, resource plans, defect triage, and reporting.

Manage end-to-end readiness for business and technical teams during testing cycles.

6. Change Management & Training Support

Collaborate with Change & Training teams to drive user adoption, impact analysis, communications, and readiness assessments.

Ensure that business teams are prepared for transformation impacts across processes, roles, and systems.

7. Risk, Issue & Budget Management

Proactively identify program risks and issues, ensure mitigation plans, and track them to closure.

Manage program budget, resource forecasts, vendor deliverables, and financial reporting.
