Job description

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field like Business Management, Contract Management or Procurement
  • CIPS Level 2 or 3 Advanced Certificate in Procurement
  • NVQ certifications in Supply Chain Management and Higher National Diploma/Certificate in Procurement
School/College

During my time in school, I earned my GCSEs or equivalent, focusing on subjects like Maths, Business Studies, IT, Geography, and Environmental Science. These subjects gave me a strong foundation in analytical thinking, business acumen, and environmental awareness, which have been essential in my career as a Procurement and Business Support Manager at CWM.

In addition to my academic studies, I actively participated in teamwork-focused school projects and took on part-time jobs that involved problem-solving and collaboration. These early experiences allowed me to develop critical skills in communication, organization, and leadership, which have been vital to my success in managing contracts, budgets, and supplier relationships.

As the Procurement and Business Support Manager at CWM Environmental, you'll play a crucial role in managing contracts, ensuring supplier compliance, and supporting various departments. From overseeing multimillion-pound deals to handling smaller procurement tasks, your day-to-day will be filled with diverse challenges and opportunities.ResponsibilitiesManage contractsEnsure value for moneySupport departments with procurement needs.High workloads and tight deadlines require strong problem-solving skills.Steve's day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesAs the Procurement and Business Support Manager at CWM Environmental, I ensure we get the best value for money by managing supplier contracts, both big and small, and supporting various departments.
