Job description

CW is seeking a dependable and hardworking Laundry Delivery Driver to support our commercial laundry operations. This hybrid role includes transporting linens and supplies between facilities or customer locations, as well as assembling, folding, and preparing laundry items for delivery.
  • Pick up and deliver laundry, linens, and uniforms to and from designated locations in a timely manner.
  • Operate a company vehicle safely to complete scheduled pickups and deliveries.
  • Loads and unloads laundry items safely, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or loss.
  • Verifies delivery and pickup orders for accuracy and completeness.
  • Follows assigned routes and schedules while adjusting as needed to meet business needs.
  • Ensures all items are properly labeled, organized, and accounted for during transport.
  • Performs routine vehicle inspections and reports any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
  • Assists with sorting, organizing, or staging laundry items when needed.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
  • Maintains clear and professional communication with customers and team members during deliveries.

What You'll Need to be Successful:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a commercial delivery vehicle in a laundry, warehouse, or production environment.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience driving a 26-foot box truck or similar commercial vehicle.
  • Experience operating company vehicles, box trucks, or cargo vans.
  • Understanding of safe driving practices and basic vehicle operation.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Physical & Environmental Demands:
  • Lifting: Must be able to lift, carry, and move laundry bundles or products weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
  • Standing: The role requires standing and remaining on one's feet for the majority of the workday.
  • Repetitive Motion: The position involves frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive hand and arm movements.
  • Pushing/Pulling: Must be able to push and pull carts, racks, or bins that may be heavily loaded with linens.

  • Work Environment: The job is performed in a warm, humid, and fast-paced industrial laundry facility.
  • Driving: Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle to transport linens or supplies, and must do so in full compliance with all company policies and applicable state driving regulations.
  • Equipment Exposure: The associate will work near commercial laundry equipment that generates heat, steam, and noise, all within established safety guidelines.
  • Flooring: The position requires standing and moving on concrete floors for extended periods.
  • Noise Levels: Frequent exposure to moderate noise levels typical of industrial operations.
  • Machinery: The role involves working around moving machinery and navigating around carts, bins, and equipment in a busy production area.
  • Soiled Linens: Frequent exposure to soiled linens while following proper sanitation and hygiene procedures.
  • Chemicals: Frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals, and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and required.
