Job description

Job Title: RN CVU
City: HILO
State: HI
Job Type: Travel
Discipline: RN

Facility Setting: Short Term Acute Care (STAC)
Accepting Locals per Radius Rule? -
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shifts: Flexible
Shift Details: 3x12-Hour
Weekly Schedule: 36 Hours
Certifications:
  • ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Mandatory Experience:
  • Shift or schedule requirements: Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours. no Call.
  • Primary Nursing care, Telemetry monitoring, Telemetry strip reading, Fingerstick blood sugar.
  • Meditech charting, Pyxis for medications, BIPAP, Continuous cardiac monitoring
  • At least 1 year hospital acute care within the last year. Progressive Care and telemetry experience preferred.
  • ACLS preferred, current PALS preferred, NIHSS certification preferred
  • Floating to other units/departments: Yes, will float to all acute units in house. Medical, Surgical/Peds, ICU and ER possible
