Job description

Position Summary

This program is a 10-week full-time opportunity that provides real work experience with a team in your business area. You will be aligned with projects to lead or contribute to while also participating in networking, development, and career exploration activities. Our interns can apply for future full-time roles during the program and have an increased likelihood of receiving an offer for a post-graduation role.

The Summer 2027 Internship Program will run from May 31 to August 6, 2026 (dates subject to change). To kick things off, CVS Health will be hosting on-site onboarding activities from May 24 to May 28 (dates subject to change) at a headquarter location. This will be a great opportunity for you to meet your fellow interns, connect with the CVS Health University Relations team, and start your summer experience on a high note!

DC Operations (Ops) Intern:

  • This is an on-site internship focused on Distribution Center (DC) experiences, including Operations (DC Ops) and/or Inventory Quality and Control (IQC) at a CVS Distribution Center, located in one of the following locations where you will be expected to be on-site and in-person Monday - Friday.
    • Conroe, TX;
    • Knoxville, TN;
    • Lumberton, NJ;
    • Orlando, FL;
    • Woonsocket,RI
  • Interns who live more than 50 miles from their assigned location may be eligible for a one-time relocation stipend.
  • This internship offers hands-on experience in CVS Health's supply chain operations, focusing on the movement, storage, and distribution of products within our front store or pharmacy warehouses. Interns will gain exposure to logistics, inventory management, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • The hourly rate is $26 per hour with 40 hours/ week, no work on July 4th (company holiday), and two days of paid leave.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership experience through student organizations, athletics, volunteer work, or academic projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively
  • Prior internship, co-op, or work experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, or a related business/technical field
  • Ability to understand and leverage operational reports, metrics, and technology tools to identify opportunities and drive results
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus


Education

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree
  • Anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028
  • Major, minor or concentration relevant to the position such as related majors:
