Job Summary and Responsibilities- As our Pharmacy Technician Trainee, you will help the Pharmacist assist in medication preparation, inventory management, and distribution so they can promote safe and effective drug therapy for patients from admission to discharge and on an outpatient basis.
- Every day you will assist the Pharmacist and licensed Technicians in medication-related duties. You will be expected to assist with controlled substances management (meeting DEA, FDA, and state regulations), manage medication storage areas using pharmacy automation, apply pharmacy knowledge to identify variances and outliers in clinical practice to prevent medication errors, and field and triage calls and questions regarding medication distribution.
- To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate extreme accuracy and attention to detail.
