Role Summary

We are seeking a highly detailed, process-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team. While this role supports our purchasing operations, it is heavily focused on high-level data entry, spreadsheet management, and accurate record-keeping rather than traditional supply chain management. The ideal candidate is a proactive "go-getter" who thrives in Excel and QuickBooks, ensuring our purchasing and accounting data is meticulously organized so our company can operate efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • High-Level Data Entry: Accurately input, update, and manage purchasing, inventory, and supplier data across company systems, including spreadsheets and QuickBooks.

  • Order Processing: Prepare, process, and track purchase orders and requisitions for materials, supplies, and equipment.

  • Data Tracking & Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous, up-to-date records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information. Monitor inventory levels and delivery statuses.

  • Process Management: Utilize a process-oriented approach to streamline data entry workflows, maintain data integrity, and minimize errors.

  • Cross-Functional Support: Act as a bridge between purchasing and accounting by ensuring all data aligns properly within QuickBooks and internal reports.

  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve data discrepancies, missing records, or incorrect shipment entries.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in high-level data entry.

  • Tech Savvy: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks is required.

  • Working Style: Process-oriented with a proactive, "go-getter" mentality and an incredibly smart attention to detail.

  • Bonus Skills: A background in Purchasing or Accounting is a strong plus (traditional supply chain experience is not necessary).

  • Availability: Ability to work effectively in an office environment during standard business hours.

Benefits

  • Paid Time Off + Holidays

  • Growth opportunities within a rapidly scaling company
