CVOR Surgical Technologist

Talented Medical Solutions

Contract

In-Office | Glendale, AZ, United States

CVOR Scrub Tech. Must have a minimum of 3 years of open-heart CVOR experience. Call and holidays will be required. A minimum of 5 years' experience is required.

Mon-Friday 06:30-15:00


Responsibities

  • Assist the surgical team by preparing and organizing sterile instruments and supplies.

  • Maintain accurate case carts and instrument counts to ensure patient safety.

  • Collaborate with surgeons and nurses to anticipate instrument needs during procedures.

  • Adhere to infection control policies and aseptic techniques at all times.

  • Uphold confidentiality and comply with regulatory standards for CVOR operations.

  • Assist in setup and breakdown of operating rooms for CVOR cases.

  • Document intraoperative activities and ensure proper charting per protocol.

  • Engage in continuous learning to stay current with CVOR techniques and equipment.

  • Participate in preoperative briefings and postoperative debriefings to improve outcomes.

  • Assist with patient positioning and transfer under supervision when required.

  • Support department metrics tracking by accurately logging case times and efficiency measures.

  • Demonstrate reliability by meeting scheduled shifts and contributing to on-site targets.
