What is a CVA?
A CVA (Certified Valuation Analyst) is a professional who specializes in business valuation, assessing the financial worth of companies for mergers, acquisitions, litigation, and financial reporting. You will frequently collaborate with traders, quants, and risk managers to interpret valuation adjustments and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks. Additionally, you may support the enhancement of risk models and participate in meetings addressing new regulations or market developments. This role offers a dynamic environment where analytical skills and cross-departmental communication are key components of day-to-day work.
What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the CVA position?
