We are currently hiring multiple Part Time Cafeteria Workers and Lunch Time Helpers for the West Jefferson Hills School District for the 2025-2026 school year.* You can work every day or just sub as you are available!HOURS & COMPENSATION* Monday thru Friday 3-4 hours a day (Hours Vary but generally between the hours of 930am-1pm)* Cafeteria Workers- $14/hr* Lunch Time Helpers- $12/hr RESPONSIBILITIES* Perform routine food preparation tasks, such as cutting up fruits and vegetables, making and wrapping sandwiches and salads. * Set up and stock work areas with all necessary ingredients and equipment. * Assist with daily cleaning duties in the cafeteria including cleaning equipment and work areas, mopping, operating dishwasher and/or scrubbing pots and pans.* Cleaning up lines at the end of the meal shift, and putting away/disposing of leftovers. * Safely operate standard and specialized kitchen equipment, including convection/combi ovens, microwave ovens, dishwashers, food warmers, coolers and freezers.* Set up a serving line with appropriate serving equipment.* Clean work areas and dispose of garbage daily.REQUIRED CLEARANCES* Fingerprints thru the Dept of Education, PA Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse Clearance
