Job description
PT work, 20/hrs. a week, contract length up to potentially 30 some weeks
Normal business hours between 8AM and 5PM
Assists and supports the Columbus Regional Airport Authority Business Development team based at Rickenbacker International Airport. Primary duties are related to clerical, data entry and company research for Air Cargo Business Development and associated efforts.
May from time to time also support Foreign-Trade Zone and industrial development needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by employees in this job. Employees may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.
- Performs administrative and research tasks, including clerical inputs of contact and company data into Customer Relations Management (CRM) software system
- Research companies for business development leads and validate company contacts
- May assist with conducting tours of Rickenbacker and its surrounding logistics infrastructure, providing visitor escorts on airport property, driving a 15-passenger bus and other related duties
- May assist with document and presentation updates
- May assist with the coordination of air cargo and foreign-trade zone events, meeting scheduling, and organizing business travel
- Performs other related and assigned work as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma (or GED equivalent)
- Clerical and software skills to include MS Office suite. CRM experience preferred
- Phone and e-mail skills
- Must possess and maintain a valid Ohio drivers license, in good standing
- Must attain and maintain CRAA ID badge for Rickenbacker Secured Areas, AOA Driving and US Customs area seal
SUPERVISION
No direct supervisory duties are expected. Will on occasion be asked to escort unbadged visitors to CRAA property following the Airport Security Program rules.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
