Do you have a background in customs and transportation and want to develop your expertise in a stimulating and dynamic environment? This role will allow you to contribute directly to the efficiency, compliance, and performance of our supply chain.

As a Customs & Transportation Compliance Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for coordinating domestic and international transportation activities while ensuring the compliance of import and export documentation. You’ll collaborate with our customs broker, carriers, logistics team, operations, and procurement to ensure efficient, compliant, and well-structured processes.


In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Prepare, validate, and ensure the compliance of import and export documents
  • Collaborate with the customs broker, carriers, and internal teams
  • Monitor applicable regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate domestic, international, and special shipments according to deadlines and operational needs
  • Track deliveries and manage unforeseen issues
  • Implement and improve procedures related to transportation and customs compliance
  • Monitor supplier performance metrics: costs, lead times, and quality

Profile

With the following skills and qualities, you will thrive in this role:

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in import/export, customs compliance, or transportation, ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • A college degree in logistics, operations management, business administration, international trade, or a related field; or a relevant DEC with significant experience
  • A solid understanding of customs processes, compliance standards, and Incoterms
  • Proficiency with computer tools, particularly Excel and an ERP system
  • Experience with SAP: a plus
  • Excellent command of French, both spoken and written
  • Working knowledge of English required to communicate with our English-speaking partners
