Job Duties: Process and submit import and export customs documentation through ACE (U.S. Customs and Border Protection) and ACI (Canada Border Services Agency) systems. Ensure timely and accurate transmission of electronic customs data prior to shipment arrival. Review commercial invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping documents for completeness and regulatory compliance. Prepare and submit customs entries while ensuring compliance with U.S. and Canadian customs regulations. Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, warehouses, and government agencies to facilitate customs clearance. Resolve customs holds, border delays, rejected filings, and documentation discrepancies. Monitor shipment status and proactively address issues affecting cross-border transportation. Maintain accurate customs records and supporting documentation for audit purposes. Assist with post-entry corrections, customs audits, and regulatory inquiries.
