Job description

Job Summary:
QT9 Software is seeking a self-motivated, adaptable ERP professional to lead implementation and training engagements for new and existing customers using the QT9 ERP/MRP platform. This customer-facing Level II role combines business-process analysis, manufacturing knowledge, project coordination, training, troubleshooting, and product feedback across virtual and on-site engagements. The successful candidate will also help refine QT9's implementation methodology, mentor Level I team members, and embrace AI-enabled and other emerging technologies that can improve internal efficiency, consistency, and knowledge sharing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead ERP implementation and training engagements for new and existing customers through virtual and on-site sessions.
  • Analyze customers' current manufacturing, inventory, supply chain, and business processes to understand requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend best-practice workflows within QT9 ERP.
  • Guide customers through the transition from existing processes and systems to QT9 ERP, helping drive adoption, user confidence, and successful implementation outcomes.
  • Manage and continuously refine implementation project plans, priorities, milestones, deliverables, and customer expectations throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Deliver engaging, effective customer training on ERP functionality through one-on-one sessions, group training, and webinars.
  • Serve as a voice of the customer by identifying product enhancements, new functionality, usability improvements, and opportunities to improve the implementation and training experience.
  • Participate in testing and validation of new product releases, including troubleshooting issues, documenting findings, and providing actionable feedback to internal teams.
  • Create and maintain customer-facing training resources, Help documentation, User Manuals, implementation guides, and other enablement materials.
  • Use AI-enabled tools and other emerging technologies responsibly to improve internal processes such as documentation, training-content development, project administration, meeting/action summaries, knowledge sharing, quality checks, and other repeatable workflows. Evaluate new tools with curiosity, sound judgment, and appropriate attention to customer data and company policies.
  • Collaborate closely with Implementation, Support, Product, Development, and other team members to resolve customer challenges and achieve department goals.
  • Mentor and support Level I Training/Implementation Specialists by sharing ERP, manufacturing, implementation, technology, and customer-management best practices.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve QT9's implementation methodology, training processes, tools, and overall customer experience.
  • Travel to customer locations as needed; company-paid travel is required for some implementation and training engagements.

Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience training and implementing ERP software.
  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing and/or supply chain management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Intermediate project management skills with the ability to manage multiple customer priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Strong ability to analyze business processes, identify gaps, and translate operational requirements into practical system solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide effective software training to users with varying levels of technical experience.
  • Strong time-management, organization, independent problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Strong understanding of Windows environments, modern web browsers, cloud/web-based business applications, and database-driven software.
  • Intermediate knowledge of software testing, quality assurance, troubleshooting, and issue documentation.
  • Comfort learning new technologies quickly, including familiarity with or a strong willingness to adopt AI-enabled tools and automation where they can improve internal processes and team productivity.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement, and manufacturing process optimization.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP workflows involving inventory, purchasing, production, scheduling, bills of material, or related manufacturing operations.
  • Experience mentoring junior implementation, training, support, or consulting professionals.
  • Experience using AI assistants, workflow automation, or other productivity technologies to improve documentation, analysis, training, or internal operational processes.
