Job Accountabilities:

Lead strategy, market intelligence, and customer growth planning to enable proactive sales strategy, strengthen customer partnerships, and anticipate demand, pricing, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities. This is not a marketing execution role, it is a forward-looking commercial strategy and growth leadership role that connects customer strategy, market dynamics, sales execution, and financial outcomes.

Job Requirements

This position reports to the Vice President, Sales & Marketing, is based in the Tampa HQ office, and serves as a strategic commercial partner to Sales leadership with responsibility for market intelligence, customer growth strategy, commercial planning, forecasting input, competitive intelligence, and executive communication.

  • Customer & Market Intelligence - Build strong relationships with marketing directors and commercial teams at key customers, including PepsiCo, KDP, Monster, Refresco, and other strategic accounts. Proactively gather insight on innovation pipelines, promotional strategies, category growth expectations, and channel shifts across retail, club, convenience, and other channels. Translate customer strategy into early demand signals, volume and mix implications, and clear risk or opportunity flags.
  • Commercial Strategy Support - Partner with Sales leadership to shape account strategies, annual plans, pricing objectives, volume expectations, investment levels, contract priorities, and promotional strategies. Identify growth pockets, margin risks, and clear objectives for key commercial activities.
  • Forecasting & Demand Planning Input - Convert customer and market intelligence into demand assumptions and scenario-based forecasts, including base, upside, and downside views. Challenge and refine forecasts using external market data, customer insights, consumption trends, and historical performance.
  • Competitive Intelligence - Track and interpret competitor pricing behavior, capacity investments, customer wins and losses, and promotional patterns. Develop decision-ready insights on where Crown may be over or underpriced, where competitors are investing, and where share shifts are likely.
  • Market Analytics & Reporting - Own and elevate quarterly consumption reports, retail and scan data interpretation, category growth trends, and share analysis. Move reporting from what happened to what it means for Crown and what actions should follow.
  • Executive Communication - Lead preparation of C-suite presentations, strategic updates, customer opportunity assessments, and board-level insights as needed. Simplify complex data into clear, actionable business narratives.
  • Internal Alignment & Cross-Functional Leadership - Bridge Sales, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Strategy to ensure one aligned view of demand, market reality, commercial priorities, and business implications.

We are seeking a senior strategy and customer growth leader with the experience, analytical capability, customer orientation, and executive presence to anticipate market shifts, influence commercial decisions, and strengthen the quality of customer strategy, forecasts, and investment choices.

Minimum Requirements
