Job description

Commercial Service Tech
The Commercial Service Technician is responsible for tire related service, and repair for commercial, agricultural, off the road, and industrial tires.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Dismount and mount tires and wheels
  • Repairing, rotating, and inflating tires
  • Attaching and re-balancing wheels
  • Flat tire diagnosis, repair, and valve stem replacement
  • Clean tires and check for crack or items that will interfere with wheel torque
  • Perform daily service calls on-site at customer locations
  • Respond as needed to roadside assistance calls
  • Run service routes in the best interest of the customer and company
  • Perform fleet tire inspections to include bump checks
  • Customer service

Essential job-related skills
  • Basic computer skills, including word processing, email, and database management
  • Ability to operate hand, power, and air tools
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to read analyze and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure

Qualifications
  • 1 year work related experience
  • Forklift certification or ability to become certified
