Responsibilities:
The Project Manager will support Barrow Wise's NYC Department of Social Services project and perform the following duties:
  • Develop comprehensive project management plans
  • Lead the planning and implementation of the project
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Provide management reporting and information dissemination
  • Constantly monitor and report on the progress of the project to all stakeholders
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions
  • Work directly with business stakeholders, clients, designers, developers, and engineers to coordinate the building of applications to specifications
  • Provide project quality assurance
  • Develop quality assurance metrics to measure outputs.
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
  • Ensure all project changes meet the developed quality assurance metrics before it is released to the user community.
  • Work on-site in NYC

An ideal candidate has the following:
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field
  • 4 Years of experience in overseeing large-scale, complex projects comprised of several deliverables and/or several phases
  • 4 Years of experience acting as an Issuing Entity regarding project status, meetings, reporting requirements, and scope changes
  • 4 Years of experience with timeline management, ensuring the tasks are performed as per the scheduled date on the project plan
  • 4 Years of experience in Business Analysis and Project Management Techniques, SCRUM and Agile Development Methodologies and Sprint Delivery
