Job description

Req ID:525756
At Alstom, we build what millions depend on daily - rail transportation systems that can't afford to fail. We're more than 85 000 people worldwide creating the industry's most diverse portfolio: high-speed trains, metros, trams, maintenance services and integrated systems.
More than a job: a mission
As a Logistic Manager in New Castle, DE, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless movement of materials and resources that keep our rail systems running. Your work will directly support the reliability and efficiency of transportation for communities and cities across the region.
Your role, Your impact
  • Oversee daily logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Implement and monitor inventory management systems for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all logistics activities.

You'll work with sharp, committed teams across engineering, operations, and design - solving complex challenges that shape the future of mobility. As Logistic Manager, you will be the key link between supply chain strategy and on-the-ground execution.
What you bring
  • Proven ability to align logistics operations with strategic business goals.
  • Experience empowering and developing high-performing, adaptable teams.
  • Strong skills in fostering a safe, inclusive environment for open communication.
  • Track record of driving continuous improvement and encouraging learning from challenges.
  • Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and commitment to delivering results on time.

How success is measured
  • Consistent achievement of on-time, cost-effective delivery targets.
  • Effective resolution of operational issues and proactive problem-solving.
  • Positive feedback from team members and cross-functional partners on collaboration and leadership.

Alstom, a great place to grow
  • Opportunities to develop your skills and advance your career in a global company.
  • Supportive, inclusive teams that value diverse perspectives and continuous learning.
  • Meaningful work that contributes to safer, more connected communities.

Here, progress isn't always easy - the scale is massive, the tasks are complex - but the impact is real.
Because when the system runs, the train moves, and the city connects - that feeling stays with you. And the legacy lasts.
