Salary Range:$41,500 $43,000 per year

Position Overview:

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for delivering excellent customer service and supporting clients in managing waste disposal and recycling services. This role involves accurately inputting orders, handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, coordinating service requests, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Functions & Duties:

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing professional and courteous assistance via phone, email, or in-person interactions.

Respond to customer inquiries regarding waste disposal and recycling services, billing, service scheduling, and general information.

Provide accurate and detailed information to customers about available waste management solutions, pricing, and service options.

Assist customers in setting up new accounts, modifying existing service arrangements, and addressing account-related inquiries.

Coordinate service requests, including scheduling waste pickups, bin placements, or container exchanges, ensuring timely and efficient service.

Address and resolve customer complaints, concerns, or issues, escalating complex problems to appropriate departments or management as needed.

Maintain accurate customer records and documentation, including updating account information, service notes, and communication logs.

Process customer payments, invoices, and billing adjustments accurately and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Collaborate with internal teams, such as operations and sales, to ensure smooth coordination of service delivery and customer requirements.

Stay updated on industry regulations, service offerings, and waste management best practices to provide informed and up-to-date assistance to customers.

Continuously seek opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty through proactive communication, problem-solving, and personalized service.

Follow company guidelines and compliance requirements related to data protection, confidentiality, and privacy of customer information.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Post-secondary education (college or university) preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Previous experience in customer service or a similar role, preferably in the waste management

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.

Strong customer service skills and a passion for assisting and resolving customer inquiries.

Active listening skills to understand customer needs and concerns and provide appropriate solutions.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and maintaining customer records.

Exhibit patience and the ability to handle challenging customer situations with professionalism.

Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or work demands, including occasional weekends or evenings.
