Job description

We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support financial services clients and deliver an exceptional service experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about delivering outstanding client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound calls from Financial Advisors, their assistants, and internal service partners while delivering world-class customer service.
  • Support annuity application processing and resolve issues related to annuity purchases, transfers, and corrections.
  • Provide accurate and timely information regarding annuity products, policies, procedures, and system functionality.
  • Process annuity transactions through the organization's annuity order entry platform.
  • Research and resolve inquiries while ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Escalate complex issues as appropriate and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, inquiries, and resolutions in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of annuity products and be able to explain key features, benefits, and differences among available offerings.
  • Follow established schedules and adhere to customer service center operating hours.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to address escalations and adapt to operational, procedural, and compliance-related changes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance service quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of customer service experience for a financial services company.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and work well within a team.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.13 - $24.13/hr.
