Competitive Pay: $18.50-22.50 an hour, depending on experience

Position Overview

The Customer Service Representative/Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate is a dynamic, customer-facing role that keeps our outside sales team running smoothly and takes the show on the road. You'll handle inquiries, process orders, manage complaints, and assist with billing, credits, and quotes, all while building lasting customer relationships. When the moment calls for it, you'll drive directly to customer sites to deliver hands-on support and tailored product solutions in person. Warehouse duties include receiving and stocking inventory, shipping products, organizing the warehouse, conducting cycle counts, maintaining the warehouse, and performing vehicle maintenance. The associate will also move stock and handle hazardous spills safely. Forklift certification preferred and proper lifting techniques are required. Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain warehouse inventory and organization, including stock rotation, cycle counts and receiving/shipping freight
  • Uphold a safe work environment by following safety protocols, handling hazardous spills, and maintaining equipment
  • Process and manage customer orders, credits, billing, complaints, and UPC requests, while consulting with customers on products and services and escalating unresolved issues as needed
  • Drive to customer sites, planning efficient daily routes to deliver hands-on support, product solutions, and occasional deliveries
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and represent Industrial Finishes professionally, reflecting company values in every customer and team interaction

Qualifications

Candidates should have 1-2 years of experience in a customer service support role, with a strong understanding of warehouse, supply chain, and distribution processes. A high school diploma or GED is required, with preference given to those with vocational training in Sales and Distribution or an Associate degree. The role requires excellent communication skills, with continuous speaking and hearing, as well as clear vision for daily computer tasks. Mental focus and attention to detail are essential for ensuring accuracy and effective problem-solving. Physical stamina is needed for standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and performing repetitive tasks. The role also involves handling hazardous materials safely and processing orders with precision.

Warehouse experience is preferred, and candidates must have a clean driving record.
