Position Summary:

The Part-Time Sales Associate plays an essential role in delivering an exceptional customer experience, supporting daily store operations, and representing the Simon Pearce brand with warmth and professionalism. This role is customer-focused, fast-paced, and ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling, relationship building, and creating memorable shopping experiences. 
 

The Sales Associate is welcoming, attentive, and enthusiastic about sharing the craftsmanship and design excellence that define Simon Pearce. The Sales Associate brings positive energy to the team, understands the importance of operational accuracy, and takes pride in maintaining a beautiful and inviting store environment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Customer Experience & Sales

  • Delivers a warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable experience for every guest.
  • Shares the Simon Pearce brand story with genuine enthusiasm and tailors interactions to customer needs.
  • Builds connections with customers by asking open-ended questions and offering thoughtful recommendations.
  • Accurately and efficiently completes all POS transactions.
  • Maintains strong product knowledge to support confident selling and engagement.

Store Operations & Presentation

  • Supports daily store operations, including stocking, replenishment, and back-of-house organization.
  • Assists with processing shipments, transfers, and inventory cycle counts.
  • Helps maintain a visually appealing sales floor by executing merchandising standards and ensuring product displays, fixtures, and the cash wrap are clean and organized.
  • Follows opening and closing procedures as directed by store leadership.

Team Collaboration

  • Contributes to a positive, "team-first" environment by communicating clearly and supporting coworkers during busy periods.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and a willingness to assist wherever needed.
  • Upholds Simon Pearce values, store policies, and brand standards in all customer and team interactions.

Qualifications Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
  • Interest in glassware and pottery.
