Rural King is seeking a Customer Service Representative to provide friendly, professional support to customers through phone, live chat, and other communication channels. This role assists with online orders, order management, returns, product questions, and issue resolution while partnering with internal teams and manufacturers to deliver a positive customer experience.

 What You’ll Do

Customer Support & Order Management

  • Respond to customer inquiries through phone, live chat, and other communication channels.
  • Assist with online orders, order status, order changes, returns, and general order management.
  • Research and resolve customer questions related to products, orders, shipping, availability, and services.
  • Contact manufacturers and vendors to obtain product, order, warranty, or service information.
  • Track customer returns and follow up on order issues to ensure timely resolution.
  • Partner with coworkers and internal departments to address customer needs and resolve issues.
  • Maintain accurate customer and order information and protect confidential information.
  • Participate in training, workshops, webinars, and other learning opportunities.
  • Demonstrate behaviors that reflect Rural King’s Values: People First, Integrity, Attitude, Initiative, Teamwork, Accountability, and Continuous Improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1+ year of customer service, call center, retail, order management, or related experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting customers by phone, live chat, email, or other digital channels.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, listening, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems and software applications.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with customers, coworkers, manufacturers, and internal teams.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and continuously improve.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.25 per hour and is bonus eligible. Exact compensation determined by factors such as geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs. Eligible associates may also receive overtime pay in compliance with applicable laws.
