Job description

The Customer Service Assistant’s main function is to process both our Orders and Invoicing in a timely and accurate manner. This person has to be able to manage a wide variety of tasks, many times performing them at the same time. The responsibilities can change on a daily and even hourly basis.

  

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

·        Entering/processing orders on a daily basis

·        Invoicing all orders/miscellaneous charges to customers

·        Processing our Credit Memos for customers

·        Posting Invoice/Credit Memo batches

·        Export Documentation

·        Assisting Coordinators daily and during absences

·        Filing

·        Completing various weekly/monthly reports

·        Distribute and log freight

·        Print shipment notifications daily


QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience:

·        Type at least 40 WPM.

·        Experience in an office environment.


Ability to:

·        Ability to verbally communicate clearly and concisely.

·        Ability to generate accurate, grammatically correct, written reports and documentation.

·        This position requires a self‐starter with the ability to effectively prioritize and complete tasks.

·        Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

·        Ability to meet deadlines.

·        Able to multi‐task in a fast‐paced environment with constant interruptions.

·        Establish and maintain effective working relationships, with other staff members.

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of:

·        Intermediate computer skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office applications.

·        Ability to operate standard office equipment, e.g. fax, copier, computer, scanner, 10‐key, keyboard.
