Job description

Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a successful Marine Customer Relations Representative to join our Marine Service Group in Kennesaw, GA.
What you'll be doing:
  • Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions. Suggests information about other products and services.
  • Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint and determining the cause of the problem. Selects and explains the best solution to solve customer problem.
  • Expedites correction or adjustment and follows up to ensure resolution.
  • Interfaces with other Yamaha personnel in service, parts, sales or other divisions as needed to obtain the information necessary to make objective equitable decisions.
  • Evaluates customer or dealer requests for assistance on Yamaha products. Determines the type and amount of assistance to be provided by YMUS.
  • Maintains customer records by updating account information.
  • Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
  • Performs various administrative tasks or special assignments within the department as needed.

What you'll need to be successful:
  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Typically preferred 2 to 5 of related call center experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office (i.e., Windows OS, Word, Excel and PowerPoint & Outlook).
  • Must have strong written and verbal communications abilities. Able to type 40 wpm.
  • Experience in the Marine or Powersports industry is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in a Marine or Powersports dealership within parts and/or service or in another capacity is desired.
