Full-Time Project Manager with an exciting Energy Management company in Troy, MI!


This role requires you to work in office on-site daily.


The Project Manager oversees the efficient and effective execution of 30+ concurrent product deployment and installation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. This role is responsible for coordinating project activities, managing documentation, and facilitating communication among stakeholders to drive successful outcomes. The Project Manager provides comprehensive administrative and operational oversight to ensure all projects are delivered with precision and efficiency.


Do you have experience in these areas:


Responsibility #1- Project Coordination and Communication

  • Assists in planning and coordinating project activities, including scheduling meetings, tracking project milestones, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Serves as a point of contact for project-related inquiries, facilitates communication between team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Supports the allocation and management of project resources, including scheduling and coordinating team members' tasks and managing project supplies.
  • Coordinates project activities to ensure the project is on schedule.
  • Generates letters, emails, and reports when appropriate by using various software applications.


Responsibility #2- Document Management

  • Maintains document control, naming conventions and organization for all assigned projects.
  • Prepares, maintains, and organizes project documentation, including project plans, reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
  • Assists in the preparation of project status reports, including tracking progress against project plans, identifying potential risks, and providing updates to stakeholders.
  • Reviews project documents, completes accurate fixture quantity takeoffs, develops and maintains an accurate bill of material on assigned projects.
  • Generates and completes with accuracy the purchase order and warranty processes.


Responsibility #3- Issue Resolution and Support

  • Helps identify and resolve project issues, including logistical problems and administrative challenges, to minimize impact on project timelines.
  • Offers customer service and support by tracking product orders and providing accurate details of delivery schedules.
  • Provides administrative and logistical support including meeting arrangement, progress tracking and documentation.

  • Associates Degree or Technical certificate preferred.
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in project administration, logistics, project management.
  • Proven experience working with utilities and contractors while managing project installations through construction.
  • Strong understanding of AC and DC power, transformers, circuit protection, single-line electrical and mechanical diagrams, and construction drawings
  • Understanding of construction administration processes, including contracts, budgets, construction documents, change orders, schedules, material procurement, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience using Project Management Software (i.e. MS Project, Asana, Trello), as well as CRM software (i.e. Salesforce.com, Hubspot, Zoho, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, grammar, spelling, format) with a sensitivity to understand client needs.
  • Organize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
