Job description

Our newest client located on the north side of Holland is seeking Fulfilment Associates! This manufacturer provides quality product for organizing space in residential homes.

Fulfillment Associates are a vital part of our dynamic and growing team! As a Fulfillment Associate I, you'll play a hands-on role in our customer fulfillment department. This entry-level position involves manual labor tasks such as:
  • Packing boxes with product
  • Banding pallets
  • Moving product throughout the fulfillment area

A background in manufacturing or warehouse operations-especially in furniture or wood processing-is a plus.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • Follow standard operating procedures for fulfillment tasks
  • Select appropriate materials for packaging
  • Perform required quality checks to ensure accuracy
  • Meet quoted completion times consistently
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting on packaging equipment
  • Feed raw materials or parts into semi-automated machines
  • Inspect parts using precision and measuring tools
  • Resolve issues that may arise during shifts
  • Monitor output to identify machine-related mistakes or flaws
  • Maintain records of approved and defective units or final products

  • Overtime- Mandatory once trained. ( temps should not work OT until fully trained.) 10 hour days, 1st shift late end at 4:30pm and 3rd shift early start at 8:30pm.


Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.
  • Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, ability to follow directions and paperwork accurately.
  • Experience: Prior manufacturing background is required; familiarity with semi-automated equipment is considered a plus.

Physical & Work Environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
  • Standing/walking for most of the shift (up to 12 hours).
  • Exposure to sawdust and medium-to-high ambient noise.
  • Requires bending, twisting, crouching, and handling boards of varying sizes.
