Job description

Business Development Manager – Outside/Territory Sales

North Central Wisconsin (Wausau • Rhinelander • Door County)

$50,000 Base + Uncapped Commission  |  $100,000+ Earning Potential

Company Vehicle • Health Insurance • 401(k) • PTO

A property manager doesn't have one water loss. They have dozens — across dozens of units, year after year.

An insurance adjuster doesn't touch one property. They touch hundreds.

Build one of those relationships the right way, and it can keep producing business for years.

That's the math behind this role — and it's why K-Tech Kleening & Restoration Systems is hiring an outside salesperson to develop business throughout North Central Wisconsin.

The Opportunity

K-Tech is investing in the next stage of its growth, and that means building out a real business development function — not just filling a sales seat.

You'll have training, coaching, CRM systems, and operational support behind you. But the referral network you build in your territory is yours to develop — and it's built to compound, not reset every month.

Who You'll Be Building Relationships With

•      Insurance Agents & Adjusters

•      Property Managers

•      Facility Managers

•      Plumbers

•      HVAC Contractors

•      General Contractors

•      Commercial Property Owners

•      Local Business Leaders

•      Other Professional Referral Partners

None of these are one-time transactions. The goal is to become the name they think of — and call — every time a property loss happens.

What an Actual Week Looks Like

•      Walking into businesses and opening new relationships

•      Meeting property managers and facility managers face-to-face

•      Developing referral relationships with plumbers, HVAC contractors, and insurance professionals

•      Running discovery and educational meetings

•      Attending networking and industry events

•      Following up — consistently, not occasionally

•      Managing your pipeline and activity in CRM

•      Coordinating with operations once an opportunity becomes an active project

This is field sales. You'll be out of the office most of the week, and success depends on becoming known throughout your market — not on inbound leads.

What Success Looks Like

•      A referral network that keeps growing

•      Predictable, repeat business from partners who think of K-Tech first

•      A pipeline that's fuller this year than last

•      Steadily increasing income as your territory matures

•      Visibility across your major target markets

The goal isn't staying busy. It's building a territory that pays you more every year you own it.

About K-Tech

K-Tech Kleening & Restoration Systems has served Central and Northern Wisconsin since 1975 — more than 50 years helping homeowners and businesses recover from water, fire, storm, and environmental damage.

That history matters for one practical reason: when you walk into a new relationship, you're not asking someone to bet on an unknown name. You're backed by an established operation with the systems and support to protect the relationships you build.

Ready to Build a Territory That Pays You for Years?

If you think in terms of long-term earning potential rather than single transactions — and you're ready to build a territory that pays you for years, not just this month — we'd like to talk.

Candidates open to relocating to North Central Wisconsin are welcome to apply.

Apply today to join K-Tech's business development team.

Requirements

Who Thrives Here

We're looking for someone who treats relationships like an asset that pays out over time — not just this quarter's number.

•      2+ years of B2B outside sales experience

•      Comfortable prospecting and opening new doors

•      Confident starting a conversation cold, in person

•      Naturally builds trust and stays top-of-mind

•      Disciplined about follow-up

•      Can manage a regional territory with minimal oversight

•      Organized and comfortable working inside a CRM

•      Motivated by long-term earning growth, not just a paycheck

Restoration industry experience is a plus, not a requirement — we can teach you the restoration side. What we can't teach is how to earn trust and stay disciplined about follow-up.

Benefits

Compensation & Benefits

•      $50,000 Base Salary

•      Uncapped Commission

•      $100,000+ Earning Potential

•      Company Vehicle During Work Hours

•      Health Insurance

•      401(k)

•      Paid Time Off

•      Holiday Pay

•      Company Laptop, Phone & Credit Card

•      Professional Sales Training & Ongoing Coaching

Your income is designed to grow as the territory you build starts generating repeat, predictable business — not just from what you close this month.
