Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) leads the utility truck and equipment market—30+ years strong, 40+ U.S. locations, 2,600+ employees, and a rental fleet topping 10,000 trucks. Our customers span utilities, telecom, construction, forestry, oil, and rail. We’re hiring a hands-on technician with deep hydraulic know-how to service and repair utility fleet equipment.

Shift & Compensation
  • Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (OT as needed)

Equipment You’ll Touch
  • Boom Trucks & Cranes: Load King, Terex, Manitowoc, Elliott, National
  • Bucket & Dump Trucks
  • Digger Derricks
  • Utility Equipment and related systems
What You’ll Tackle
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Leverage schematics, blueprints, and diagnostic tools (QuickServe, DTNA, etc.).
  • Conduct DOT, ANSI, and dielectric inspections and testing.
  • Rebuild components: gearboxes, outriggers, hydraulic cylinders.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and validate with post-repair tests.
  • Document work orders, parts requisitions, and service notes accurately.
  • Maintain a safe, orderly, and professional shop and field environment.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of relevant technician/mechanic experience.
  • Proven hydraulic troubleshooting capability (required).
  • Electrical and welding background (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license and personal tools.
  • Independent, deadline-driven work style with solid problem-solving.
  • Able to work in shop and field settings, including lifting and working at heights.
