Overview

Cummings Electrical is looking for a Project Manager for our Integrated Manufacturing facility in Arlington, TX.

Cummings Electrical is expanding our Integrated Manufacturing team. We design and build custom, integrated, modular systems such as e-houses, electrical skids, HAC's and UL 508A panels for a wide range of projects, including data centers, healthcare facilities, industrial plants, and more.

Responsibilities
  • Primary point of contact for customer, vendors, project team, and office support
  • Owns single or multiple contracts, budgets, procurement matrices, schedules, project planning and execution
  • Review and monitor project costs versus budgets for multiple projects and/or program level contracts ($50M+ single or cumulative)
  • Responsible for coordinating the quality assurance / quality control for the project(s) with Quality Manager
  • Interprets and ensures work is consistent with plans, specifications, drawings, and documents related to engineering and integration scope
  • Resolve inter-group conflicts, project conflicts and delays as required to meet project goals and milestones
  • Coordinate with internal & external procurement/purchasing teams to ensure that requested material is expedited and received as needed for the integration of a project
  • Serve as an interface between the IM Engineering team and internal clients, including the Production, Quality, Logistics, and Safety teams, to facilitate interdepartmental relations and project goals
  • Assist with the development of new electrical engineering standards and maintain and improve existing standards and guidelines, implementing industry and company best practices
  • Lead project / program meetings and conference calls; participate in engineering, design, and constructability review processes
  • Lead or assist with investigations, including root cause analysis as needed
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 or more years of progressively responsible experience in the electrical construction industry, with a concentration in commercial and industrial large construction projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management / Engineering or related field is preferred
  • Prior knowledge and understanding of the estimating process
  • Exposure to ACCUBID and/or CONEST a plus
  • Ability to understand, evaluate and build complex project schedules utilizing MS Project
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite required, including excel at advanced level and familiarity with MS Teams and SharePoint
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service skills required
  • Willing to travel outside of DFW/N TX area a plus
