Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for the full operation of our Okuma Horizontal Milling Center. The CNC Operator will collaborate with cross-functional departments and contribute to the smooth, efficient operation of our organization.

  • Prior experience running Okuma equipment
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience with basic G-code, Mastercam CAM, and SolidWorks (or similar software)
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities

Responsibilities
  • Program, set up, and operate an Okuma Horizontal Milling Center
  • Read and interpret engineering part drawings
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, and depth micrometers
  • Input and adjust tool offsets
  • Inspect, clean, and pack finished products
  • Accurately complete all quality control documentation and inspection sheets
  • Perform other duties as assigned or as business needs require

Qualifications
  • Technical college training a plus; High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Self-starter with a proactive work approach
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of set-up, tooling, and fixtures
  • Experience with basic G-code interpretation and understanding
  • Experience with Okuma Horizontal Milling Centers preferred
  • Familiarity with Mastercam CAM and SolidWorks or similar programming software
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments
