Job description

The Cabinet Maker is responsible for crafting high-quality custom cabinetry and millwork, from interpreting blueprints to final finishing. This role requires expertise in woodworking, cabinet assembly, and finishing techniques, with additional skills in CNC machining, furniture restoration, and custom fabrication. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning and craftsmanship excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings to construct custom cabinets.
  • Perform precise milling of wood stock and face frame construction.
  • Assemble cabinets, doors, and drawer boxes with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Execute sanding, staining, and spray finishing techniques for high-quality surface preparation.
  • Utilize CNC machining for precision woodworking tasks.
  • Assist with light installation of cabinetry when required.
  • Ensure proper handling and logistics for cabinet deliveries.
  • Restore and refinish furniture as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to shop safety protocols.
  • Continuously develop skills in cabinet construction, finishing, and installation techniques.
