Overview

Mechanical Rubber - Custom Rubber Manufacturing

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to join our team at our custom rubber manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring products meet established quality and reliability standards through inspections, measurements, and testing. The ideal candidate has experience reading mechanical drawings, using precision measurement tools, and working within quality control processes in a manufacturing environment.

Pay & Schedule

  • Hourly rate: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience)
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities
  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation to determine quality requirements.
  • Perform in-process and final inspections of rubber products using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
  • Collaborate with management and engineering teams to address quality concerns and support inspection criteria development.
  • Compile and evaluate inspection and statistical data to monitor product quality and consistency.
  • Document inspection results, identify non-conformances, and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Validate data and flag deviations from quality standards through reports and quality documentation.
  • Maintain accurate inspection and testing records.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards, industry requirements, and safety regulations.
