About the Role
As an Experienced Screen Printer at Rebel Athletic, you will be hands-on in producing premium prints for apparel and accessories that meet our high-quality standards. We specialize in premium water-based and plastisol screen printing using industry-leading M&R automatic equipment, so you'll work with top-tier tools to ensure the highest level of precision and finish. You will operate and maintain screen-printing equipment, mix inks, ensure accuracy in color and placement, and help deliver flawless products to our customers. This role is perfect for someone detail-oriented, quality-focused, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
We design and produce retail-ready gear in-house, specializing in water-based and plastisol screen printing on industry-leading M&R automatic equipment, as well as crystal decoration and custom finishing. Our team is built around craftsmanship, speed, and an uncompromising eye for quality.
We are seeking a highly skilled Screen Printer / Press Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate has extensive experience running M&R automatic presses and producing high-quality prints using both water-based and plastisol inks. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining presses to deliver consistent, retail-ready results on every job.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain M&R automatic presses for production runs.
  • Perform accurate setup, registration, and calibration for multi-color jobs.
  • Mix, manage, and handle water-based and plastisol inks to achieve required colors and finishes.
  • Conduct quality checks throughout production to ensure color accuracy, placement, and print consistency.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the press area, screens, and tools.
  • Troubleshoot press, screen, and ink issues quickly to minimize downtime.
  • Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines while maintaining the highest print standards.
  • Follow safety procedures and proper handling of chemicals and equipment.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of professional screen printing experience on M&R automatic presses.
  • Strong knowledge of both water-based and plastisol printing techniques.
  • Ability to perform complex setups, including simulated process and specialty inks.
  • Familiarity with proper mesh counts, emulsions, and screen preparation for different ink types.
  • Keen eye for detail and color accuracy.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical printing issues independently.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to meet production deadlines.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with discharge, specialty inks, and high-end retail printing.
  • Knowledge of prepress workflow (film output, screen coating, exposure).
  • Basic press maintenance skills.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
