Bumperactive Custom Stickers + Tees is hiring a Seasonal Screen Printing Operator Assistant to support our press operators in delivering top-tier screen-printed apparel and goods. We are a proud union shop (CWA Local #6132), focused on high-volume print-on-demand services for grassroots campaigns, nonprofits, community organizations, and creators.

Position Overview

As a Screen Printing Operator Assistant, youโ€™ll work closely with our press operators to ensure smooth, efficient production. Your role will involve preparing jobs, loading garments, supporting press runs, and maintaining a clean, organized print area. Youโ€™ll help bring designs to life with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Job Prep: Stage and organize blank garments and materials for daily print jobs

Load/Unload: Load garments onto the press pallets and unload after printing

Press Support: Assist with screen changes, ink prep, and press maintenance

Quality Checks: Monitor for misprints, alignment issues, and ink consistency

Cleanup: Maintain cleanliness around presses and reclaim screens as needed

Workflow Communication: Coordinate with press operators and production staff to keep jobs on schedule

Safety: Follow all shop safety protocols when working near machinery, inks, and chemicals

Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as needed to support the screen printing department

Experience: prior screen printing experience required

Physical Readiness: Able to lift 50 lbs regularly, stand for long periods, and work in a non-air-conditioned warehouse
