Job Title: Apparel Screen Printing Operator
Reports To: Production Manager
Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

Job Summary:

The Apparel Screen Printing Operator is responsible for operating screen printing machines to print designs on clothing and other textile products. This role involves setting up screens, mixing inks, ensuring quality control, and maintaining equipment to produce high-quality printed apparel.


Key Responsibilities:Machine Operation & Setup:
  • Operate automatic and manual screen printing presses efficiently.
  • Set up screens, inks, and substrates for printing runs.
  • Adjust machine settings to ensure proper alignment, pressure, and ink coverage.
Printing Process:
  • Print designs onto garments following work orders and specifications.
  • Load and unload apparel onto the printing press.
  • Ensure consistent color, registration, and print quality throughout the production run.
  • Monitor drying and curing processes to prevent defects.
Quality Control:
  • Inspect printed garments for defects, misprints, or inconsistencies.
  • Make necessary adjustments to maintain print quality.
  • Follow customer specifications and industry standards for accuracy.
Ink & Screen Management:
  • Mix and match inks to achieve desired colors.
  • Prepare and reclaim screens for reuse.
  • Clean and maintain screens, squeegees, and other printing tools.
Maintenance & Safety:
  • Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment.
  • Keep the workspace clean and organized.
  • Follow safety guidelines for handling inks, chemicals, and machinery.

Qualifications & Skills:
