We take pride in craftsmanship, professionalism, and delivering a premium client experience.

We’re looking for a skilled Residential Wireman Electrician who thrives in detailed, custom environments and is committed to producing clean, code‑compliant, high‑quality work.

Position Summary

As a Residential Wireman Electrician, you will perform electrical installations, service, and troubleshooting on custom residential job sites. This role is hands‑on and detail‑oriented, requiring strong technical ability, familiarity with custom home standards, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision. You’ll collaborate closely with project managers, builders, designers, and homeowners to ensure every project meets Powered Solutions’ quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Rough‑in, trim‑out, and final installation of lighting, receptacles, panels, and specialty devices
  • Read and interpret blueprints, one‑line diagrams, and designer lighting plans
  • Install and troubleshoot smart‑home components, low‑voltage systems, and specialty fixtures (training provided if needed)
  • Ensure all work meets NEC requirements and local code standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, builders, and homeowners
  • Document materials used, work performed, and any field changes
  • Identify issues proactively and provide solutions to keep projects on schedule
  • Support apprentices as needed by demonstrating proper techniques and safe work practices

Qualifications

  • Valid Texas Apprentice license with a minimum of two years of experience or a valid Texas Wireman's license or better.
  • 2+ years of experience in residential electrical work (custom home experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high‑quality craftsmanship
  • Experience with custom lighting, specialty fixtures, or smart‑home systems is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and active construction environments

Benefits

  • Competitive pay based on experience and license level
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Opportunities for advancement into Lead Electrician or Field Supervisor roles
  • Ongoing training in custom home systems, smart‑home technology, and advanced electrical methods
