Job Overview
The Tub Wash Operator is responsible for keeping all tubs clean/sanitized and ready for use in various production areas.
Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize all tubs for use in production.
  • Mix chemicals for use in cleaning equipment, following appropriate handling procedures for hazardous chemicals
  • Assist Maintenance in completing routine Pic/Pec activities
  • Unclogging drains as needed
  • Cleaning hoses and nozzles
  • Removing equipment covers for sanitation
  • Repairing rack wheels as needed
  • Follow all food safety (GMP) and general safety guidelines (LOTO & Haz-COM)
  • Keep work area clean and free of clutter and debris

Qualifications
  • Operate regular hoses (120 PSIs) and high-pressured hoses (2,000 PSIs)
  • Operate pallet jacks and forklifts occasionally
  • Complete hazardous chemical training (Haz-Com)
  • Follow lock out procedures
