Job description

Softline Solutions is a full-service digital marketing agency based in Southern California that helps small and mid-sized businesses grow online by increasing visibility, generating leads, and boosting sales. They build tailored, data-driven campaigns across key digital channels and manage everything from strategy to execution and reporting. The goal is measurable growth, not buzzwords. Some companies include Closets by Design, Canada Dental Group, travel companies, and merchandise distribution companies.

About the role

We're looking for a Creative Producer to govern the day-to-day flow of work across Softline Creative, the in-house creative engine behind Closet World, Closets by Design, and Brio Water. This role sits at the center of the Creative org, reports to the Group Creative Director, and is responsible for the systems that move work from ask to delivery: intake, triage, prioritization, capacity reporting, and the cross-team coordination that keeps a multi-brand operation on schedule.

This is an individual contributor role with significant cross-functional reach. You'll own the intake \"front-door\" for Softline Creative, govern process and templates across Jira and Confluence, and partner with stakeholder teams across Brand Marketing and Paid Media. You'll also help operationalize Softline Creative's transition from brand-dedicated pods to centralized output teams (Copy, Brand, Digital, UX/UI), making sure the new operating model actually shows up in the way work moves. A key part of this role is knowing when to push back on incomplete intake versus when to absorb and route it, and when to elevate capacity conflicts versus when to broker them yourself.

What You Will Do

Intake and Triage

  • Own the single front door for all creative requests across brands and stakeholder teams.
  • Triage incoming briefs for completeness, priority, and routing to the right output team.
  • Push back kindly but firmly on incomplete or out-of-process requests, and coach stakeholders on what good intake looks like.
  • Maintain the master backlog and ensure every request has a clear owner, priority, and target.

Process Governance

  • Maintain and evolve standardized intake templates, workflows, and SLAs in Jira and Confluence.
  • Own Confluence space hygiene, including templates, navigation, and documentation freshness.
  • Build and tune Jira workflows, custom fields, JQL filters, automations, and dashboards for the Creative organization.
  • Run regular intake jam sessions with stakeholder teams to keep templates, fields, and routing in sync with reality.

Cross-Team Coordination

  • Serve as the connective tissue between stakeholder teams and Softline Creative output teams.
  • Surface conflicts, dependencies, and capacity risks early, before they show up as missed deadlines.
  • Facilitate prioritization and scope conversations when demand exceeds capacity.

Reporting and Metrics Ownership

  • Maintain dashboards and reports on capacity, throughput, cycle time, on-time delivery, and backlog health.
  • Produce a regular metrics package for Creative leadership ahead of Leadership Syncs, with stable, agreed-upon metrics presented week over week with target values and deltas.
  • Track follow-through on action items, ensuring each post-meeting commitment is linked to a Jira ticket.
  • Help operationalize the shift from brand-dedicated teams to centralized output teams.
  • Document new ways of working, retire old paths, and coach stakeholders through the change.
  • Partner with the Group Creative Director to refine the operating model as the new structure mures.
What We Are Looking For
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in creative production or project management in an agency or in-house creative environment.
  • Expert or highly proficient with Atlassian tools, especially Jira (workflows, custom fields, JQL, automations, dashboards, structured projects) and Confluence (templates, spaces, page hierarchies, governance).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the judgment to flex between conversational and structured depending on the audience.
  • Comfortable having direct, structured conversations with senior stakeholders, including saying no, redirecting, and holding the line on process.
  • Strong sense of pace and prioritization in a multi-brand, multi-channel environment.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and process-building. You enjoy designing the system, not just operating inside one someone else built.
Nice to Have
  • Comfort using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, and similar) to draft summaries, triage tickets, generate first-pass reports, and accelerate routine production work.
  • Experience with portfolio-level capacity planning across multiple teams or brands.
  • Background in home services, retail, or direct-to-consumer creative production.
  • Familiarity with the broader creative toolchain we use (Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Shopify, Webflow, LucidLink, MediaValet) and how it integrates with Jira.
  • Experience leading or supporting an operating model transition (for example, brand pods to centralized output teams).
What Success Looks Like
  • Softline Creative has a single, well-documented intake process, and stakeholder teams route through templates by default.
  • Capacity, throughput, and on-time delivery metrics are visible, trustworthy, and reported weekly without scramble.
  • The transition from brand teams to output teams is operational, with new workflows, hand-offs, and ownership models running in Jira and Confluence.
  • Creative leadership spends less time chasing status and more time on the work, because the system makes status legible.

The pay range for this role is:

110,000 - 145,000 USD per year (Headquarters)
