About the Role:
Straight Line Customs Inc is looking for a passionate and skilled Classic Car Auto Mechanic to join our team in Prior Lake, MN. If you live and breathe classic cars and take pride in bringing vintage machines back to their former glory, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for. Come work alongside fellow enthusiasts in a shop that truly values craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
  • Experience with panel alignment/gapping
  • Experience with body working a entire classic car/ hotrod
  • Experience with block sanding a entire car
  • Experience with light metal fab rust repair
  • Experience with painting/cut & buffing
  • Experience with disassembly & assembly of vehicle
Requirements:
  • Deep knowledge of older classic car systems, dis assembly/ assembly operations
  • Ability to read and interpret vintage automotive schematics 
  • Experience with fabrication, welding, or custom parts sourcing is a strong plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Genuine passion for classic cars and automotive history
  • Must supply own tools
