  • Maintains a professional attitude and a positive relationship with stakeholders at all times
  • Completes tasks as requested by the Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Business Manager, Director of Buildings and Grounds, Central (administrative) office staff, Principal, Assistant Principal, and office staff in a timely manner
  • Works cooperatively with the custodial team to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Works with faculty and public in a professional manner
  • Attends training and implements new procedures as directed
  • Maintains inventory of custodial/maintenance supplies and equipment
  • Cleans and preserves designated spaces, equipment etc. in the building
  • Performs ongoing preventive maintenance and minor repair on ventilation, plumbing, custodial equipment, buildings structure and hardware
  • Performs minor maintenance and repairs including but not limited to painting, drywall repair, mounting objects to walls & ceilings, moving classroom furniture, computers, boxes and books, changing light bulbs replacing and cleaning carpet, replacing and cleaning VCT tile
  • Works during summer under direction of custodial manager and deep the cleans entire school building
  • Ability to safely operate and maintain all cleaning equipment
  • Maintains proper sanitation level in all areas of the facility
  • Uses Personal Protective Equipment as required
  • Assists in maintaining seasonal grounds work (snow, lawn)
  • May be required to Participate on the Snow Team to assist plowing snow
  • May be required to assist in mowing during summer months

  • Restocks disposable items and provides head custodian with inventory usage and data
  • Assists visiting public utilizing the facilities with directions within building and in obtaining and setting up needed equipment for various events & activities

  • Is responsible for performing tasks that include minor electrical, mechanical and plumbing skills.
  • May occasionally be asked to perform duties where needed, throughout Corporation
  • Maintains satisfactory attendance
  • Completes required training in a timely manner and will need to become familiar with basic computer skills. Training must be completed on line and also basic email for school notifications
  • Complies with Corporation Bylaws, Policies and Employee Handbook
  • Models Corporation Mission Statement and Fundamental Objectives
    Education
