Earn $17.75 (+10% Shift Differential) per hour and up to 3 weeks of paid time off in your first year!

2nd Shift is from 3:00pm to 11:300pm - Monday through Friday

Participates in the daily activities and operations of the Mount Juliet Distribution Warehouse. Under limited supervision, performs an array of semi-skilled functions that support the maintenance of the facility and its warehouse equipment; and performs related duties as assigned.

  • Clean and maintain designated areas of the warehouse, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and break areas.
  • Empty trash bins and recycling bins regularly.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify safety hazards and report them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for maintenance and repairs.
  • Assist with warehouse-related tasks as needed.
  • Always follow health and safety regulations.

Skills and Conditions of Employment: 

Janitors are required to interact with managers, supervisors, employees, vendors, and customers. Therefore, the following skills and proficiencies are also essential requirements of the position:

  • Previous experience as a Janitor or a similar role is preferrred.
  • Knowledge of warehouse equipment and machinery
  • Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and their proper usage.
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety
  • Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds, regularly.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and leadership
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to work the 2nd shift work schedule:  Monday through Friday 3:00pm to 11:30pm CT.
  • This position requires schedule flexibility, as dictated by business demand and available resources including overtime at times 
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
