Job description

We are currently looking for a Full Time Arts Academy Manager to join our Arts Academy Team team located at the Arts & Humanities (Abney).
Summary:
Will work directly in performing tasks associated with the implementation of all activities and events year round with the Chickasaw Arts Academy. Tasks include, but not limited to, program planning; recruitment and selection of instructors and curriculum that has emphasis on Chickasaw culture and other southeastern Native American fine arts; contract management of recruited instructors and support staff; collection of relative data to analyze daily attendance and other factors in order to critically evaluate performance of students and instructors; create final reports and participate in strategic planning, program development and fiscal planning for continual improvement.
Responsibilities:
* Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency
* Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
* Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types
- Maintains a clean, organized work area and ensures a safe environment
- Maintains and promotes professionalism
- Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
- Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards
* Maintains knowledge of and follows all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area
* Prepare budgets as assigned
* Assists in strategic and fiscal planning and program development for the area
* Assists with all aspects of travel arrangements
- Coordinates travel arrangements
- May prepare and process travel requests, travel claims and check requests
- May compose and type trip itineraries
* Report any revisions, additions and development plans of the Chickasaw Arts Academy for finalapproval to the Executive Officer.
* Provides recommendations on teaching faculty to the Executive Officer for final approval
* Creates and manages all contracts pertaining to the Chickasaw Arts Academy.
* Conducts staff and faculty planning and evaluation meetings.
* Oversees all documentation of student files, web page, CNIQ database, application process, anyassessments and audition procedures and updates all policies and procedures pertaining to the Chickasaw Arts Academy
* Works cooperatively with various Chickasaw Nation departments and outside entities forpreparation and facilitation of the arts academy sessions
* Works cooperatively with East Central University's delegated staff towards facilitation of allclassroom spaces, equipment needs, dorm and apartment spaces to complete a contract that is fair and equitable for both parties
* Oversees the facilitation of the final showcases, concerts and/or recitals which highlight thestudents' artworks at the Chickasaw Arts Academy
* Oversees the classroom instructors, facilities and support staff of the Chickasaw Arts Academy.
* Performs all other duties as assigned
